End the wait. Feed a neighbor. Right now, there are seniors in our community waiting—waiting for the meal that might be their only one today. Waiting for the knock on the door that means someone cares. Waiting for the help they need to stay in their own homes, with dignity.
Step Up for Seniors is Meals on Wheels Waco’s urgent call to action. Too many of our elderly neighbors are on waitlists because there simply isn’t enough funding to reach them all. That’s not acceptable—not here, not now, not on our watch.
This campaign is about more than meals. It’s about ending hunger and isolation, one door at a time. Every dollar you give helps us deliver food, compassion, connection, and hope.
Together, we can end the wait.
Together, we can feed the hungry.
Together, we can Step Up for Seniors.

Research shows that healthy eating provides essential energy and nutrients for general well being, maintenance of health and functional autonomy. Improving the diet of our seniors reduces their risk of chronic disease. In addition to the benefits of regular, hot, and nutritious meals, Meals on Wheels Waco also offers:
We don’t want to see any senior in McLennan, Falls and Hill counties go hungry. That’s why we work hard to get people off our waitlist. Can you help us make sure everyone gets food?
As a Meals on Wheels volunteer, I will:
